I have used Perika for several years now, having previously found other brands of SJW OK, but a bit random in effectiveness. The reason this brand if so effective is due to its standardisation (WS5570) for the compound hyperforin. This is the one compound in SJW shown by research to lift neurotransmitter levels and therefore alleviate depression. It non-selectively inhibits the reuptake of neurotransmitters including seretonin and dopamine. For me, it improves motivation, mood and concentration. Two days without it and a feel myself descending into 'the pit'. It helps with depression a lot, but not directly with anxiety. Indirectly it helps anxiety because one can deal with that better with a buoyant mood. If you are concerned, as I was, about the coating (titanium dioxide), simply soak the tablet in water for 10-15 minutes and rinse off the coating before consuming. The coating is what preserves the hyperforin after manufacture, but of course removing it just before consumption is fine.
In my experience this helps my teen son with autism who has severe anxiety with his depression. Prescription medications did not help my teen and they all made him worse. I give him this only 2x daily along with a multivitamin and b-complex by Life Extension and ABA therapy. It has helped.

Standardized to the proper ingredient, hyperforin. Much better than other St. Johns Wort supplements due to the proper ingredient having increased quantity. Nature's Way is a well known and very reputable company that almost always delivers high quality products with very competitive pricing and that is certainly true with their Perika. This is far superior to "typical" St Johns Wort for mood issues.
This St. john's wort quality is very good. I like the size of tablets. its packaged very well. Great benefit for deep sleep. my mood very calm and relaxed. This is plant based. Serotonin is very good for brain health also positive mind. It tastes good. I take 2 tablets every day. highly recommend to everyone.
It a good sleep aid, although I didn't find it any better, or much better than regular St. John's Wort. This product is much more expensive though
Simply the best st john's wort on the market, i take one pill a a day, three a day is too potent for me. Please use one a day for three weeks to see results, if it is not working, then up your dosage.
Excellent quality, perfect dosage based on the most relevant studies and recommendations. Helped with my mood, but it causes light sensitivity so I will be stopping it during the upcoming hotter months.

I've been using St John's Wort for years and Perika is the very best type. I wouldn't use any other St John's. They changed the package in the last few years but it's still good quality.
This has been a life saver. I’ve been using it for years. Able to get off pharmaceuticals after years. Highly recommend. Could be right for you. That being said- remember to wean slowly off if currently taking a prescription.
