Natural activation of B2 may be lacking in low functioning thyroid or in case there are high doses of B6 as well as B2 participates in its activation. So this Natural Factors activated form of B2 with high bioavailability comes at rescue as other options are way more expensive. And its important because other nutrients (e.g. Boron and K2) may deplete B2 reserves.
It works well on the thyroid gland, the nervous system. The usual form did not have any effect on me except for the color of urine, I assumed that I had problems with the metabolism of this vitamin and decided to try this (active) one. I can say that the urine color has definitely not gone anywhere, but besides that, after a month and a half or two months, positive changes in the energy level are felt, which I can't associate with anything else (I didn't change the regime, the work schedule, too, I didn't add / remove other dietary supplements).
Vitamin B2 is a universal source of energy. It is directly related to vision, with deficiency, dry eyes, photophobia, damage to the cornea, up to the development of cataracts, can be observed. It also promotes muscle growth, which is why athletes love it so much. This vitamin for tissue healing and beauty is extremely important for our body. I chose this option because it is active.Ingredients Useful. Ideal Quality, with the usual Taste, an unmatched product. Capsule size and dosage are good. I liked the packaging. There is a benefit for me.
it is an active form of vitB2. I have a MTHFR mutation, so this form suits me. Riboflavin is necessary for the body to be able to activate vitamin B6. it is also necessary for the body's conversion of tryptophan to niacin, and the conversion of folate to folate's various active forms. In addition, riboflavin plays a crucial role in the metabolism of fats and glucose, the synthesis of red blood cells, healthy methylation, and the production and regulation of certain hormones. Like if you find it helpful, please.
As a vegetarian, I'm always on the lookout for supplements that are both effective and plant-based, so I was excited to try Natural Factors BioCoenzymated B2 Riboflavin 5'-Phosphate from iHerb. I have to say, I'm thoroughly impressed with this product! First of all, the fact that it's biocoenzymated means that the B2 (riboflavin) is in its active, coenzyme form, which makes it easier for my body to absorb and utilize. This is a huge plus, especially since many supplements contain inactive forms of vitamins that aren't as effective. But beyond that, I've noticed a real difference in my energy levels since starting to take this supplement. I've struggled with fatigue for a while now, but I've been feeling more alert and focused since incorporating BioCoenzymated B2 into my routine. And as someone who spends a lot of time in front of a computer, I appreciate that this supplement is specifically designed to support eye health as well.
I heard B2 deficiency is rare. However, if you take high dose of thiamin you may have to take b2 more I guess because these two essentials go together collaborating with each other. It helps with nervous system and cell metabolism as well as skin and hair. The dose actually is still problem for me because I am not sure how much I should take b2 per day. The pill itself: the color is yellow and the size is right. I think they are good quality.
Good price, on par with any other brand. Helpful for metabolizing B12 genetic issues. Good potency for cost, I have to open the capsule and take 1/2 a cap, 3 times a day. Tastes awful, very synthetic tasting but does the job. IT will cause urine to be fluorescent but that's typical of all B2, R5P. It is controversial whether R5P is necessary over Riboflavin or even better, but going with it for now. I think it's helping but for me, it takes a million moving parts, not just one supplement and done.
Bought these for my girlfriend, who was having severe headaches during her periods. Two pills of those always seem to help reduce the headaches by 90%, and fast. So happy I was able to help her. Just bear in mind that it either works great, or not at all. But it is inexpensive and certainly worth a shot, plus, a lot safer then any NSAID...
