I have drunk organic loose leaf South African green rooibos tea for over a decade and am familiar with the smell and taste of this herbal tea. This was my first time trying this brand and I was pleased by the freshness and flavor. I think it's slightly better than the other brand I was buying, so I will continue to buy more of this one!
Highly recommend! First, rooibos is made in South Africa, and not China like most of the teas on the market. Second, it is naturally caffeine free - so you can enjoy it throughout the day, anytime. Next, rooibos tea supports detoxification, so it is a must for liver and gallblader health. And the last - some do not like red rooibos for the specific flavor/smell, well, this one - green rooibos - does not have this smell and taste. It mostly tastes like herbal tea.
This product from J&R has great quality ingredients! I alternate between the green and the red Rooibos! The taste of the green tea blend is not a strong as the red. But the green has more health benefits than the red. I usually have two to three servings daily when I use the green rooibos! Great size for the money! Great packaging by J&R and iHerb! First, I am NOT a tea drinker. I have tried many flavors over the years to always put them aside after a couple of cups. I try, try, and try again because I know that green tea is excellent for keeping me healthy, and I am all for that for sure. I purchased this Green Rooibos Tea because of the good results that I have been having with Green Rooibos Serum( not from this company) for topical use. I thought, if this is helping me on the outside, maybe this green tea would be beneficial of the inside of my body. The jury is still out on the health benefits, but I will continue on with this tea. The flavor is mild without bitterness or much of a taste. I recently started using 2 bags per cup to bump up the flavor. I like my coffee on the strong side so maybe this 2 bag per cup idea will please me and keep me coming back to IHerb for more.
Value for money in a big pack. Well delivered. Better to put in filter bag though before brewing. The rooibos is finely chopped . Have to use a sieve with fine mesh. First time ordering loose leave pack. My first brew was a bit messy as I used a standard tea strainer but the fine rooibois past through the net. Well, given the good price of a whole pack and more environmental friendly (not individually tea bag packaging). The aroma of green roobois is not as strong as red roobois. But still nice. I guess it is personally preference. Enjoy your cup of healthy tea!
The quality of the tea is great! You will not get more than a cup of tea out of every tea bag but it is delicious. The taste is fresher and lighter than red roybois tea. The tea comes in two separate bags and the tea bags themselves are not individually wrapped - better for the environment.

This is definitely quality ingredients and I use it almost four times a day because it taste so good. The bag is of good size and has no caffeine. This tea has amazing benefits and I can blend it with other teas. I order it with frequency and it is packaged so well! Doesn’t require a large serving but you are advised to drink 6 cups a day!
Great product with good quality and i like the taste of it than red rooibos. Ingredient is purely green rooibos and according to research is rich in antioxidants (more than green tea). It is safe to consume during pregnancy and lactation as it is cafferine free. Package is user friendly. Size is generous. Will recommend to all mommies who is wary about green tea or black tea consumption. This contains iron as well so it has benefits to babies of 6months onwards.
This is my second bag of green rooibos. I have always loved drinking red rooibos tea but since I found the green organic rooibos, I now mix it with the red to give me the taste that I like but with more antioxidants - the green contains more antioxidants than the red. I used to drink rooibos in the afternoon only as it has no caffeine and drank black tea in the morning. Now I like the tate of the mixture from above more than black tea so I only drink the rooibos now.
