Chemical sunscreens make my eyes sting so I'm always on the lookout for great mineral sunscreens. Only the Anthelios line has worked like a dream for me however it is expensive and comes in 40ml. I wanted this Eucerin sunscreen to be a great alternative. However it's mattifying to the point of looking like dry powdered skin. It flakes like dandruff at the eyebrows and near the hairline. I have combination skin with rosacea near my nose and this makes my nose itch a bit, although not too severely. I will wear this if I'm out in the sun and not going indoors or meeting people. Otherwise this will not work for me. I'm back on the lookout for a good cheap mineral sunscreen again. Works nicely on the body but that's not what I bought it for.
Nice sunscreen. No scent-which is great for those who is sensitive to fragrance. Used it several times on face and upper body-it does the job well. The only thing is-I hoped the consistancy will be on the lighter side but it appeared to be quite thick. But it absorbs well and doesn't leave a white layer or greasey feeling.
I love this sunblock! The texture is great. There is a slight whitecast but it works for me like a makeup primer so I'm not so concern. What's great is that although the zinc oxide content is high, this sunblock is not drying. Neither is it oily. Highly recommended!
Good for oily skin and hot weather, and does not make the skin more oily. If you have acne-prone skin try it you will not regret it. You can use it daily with the morning routine. The size and quality of this eucerin product are very good compared to the price.
The application at the beginning. Leaves a little white on the face. In a short time and the massage the "white" appearance is absorbed. I have mixed and mature skin, I find this cream quite good for me, a little heavy on the face. I do feel that it protects me from the strong sun
I like this sun screen because it doesn’t have any scent, a product I was looking for. No smell at all. It took a good care of my skin on the beach and I didn’t get any sunburns. Good quality and size. It does not contain any bad chemicals such as parabens. It is rather thick and does not spread easily. This means not much useless liquid fillers inside.
love this sunscreen, it is gentle enough to use on my sensitive rosacea and eczema prone skin, and it doesn't come off in the water or when sweating, it is a little bit tacky on the skin, but that's what keeps it from washing and rubbing off when you are doing activities.
Wore this today first time and was very generous on the face and neck with product. Happy to say just like there previous sunscreen that there was no irritation problems of any kind. These are sensational sunscreens. Super confident every time I wear them. There was some white cast but rubbed it in vigorously and was good to go ALL DAY. Big fan..
I was using daily spf 30 from Eucerin and this is way better! It is lightweight, for those with light skintone it will sink in giving you a subtle, healthy glow. Works wonderful under make up (I use Cc, BB creams and mineral foundation). It absorbs well within few minutes, but will have a slight white cast while rubbing it in, however after literally 5 mins it goes away. I have rosacea and do not tolerate a lot of chemical sunscreens and decided to give mineral a try and this one really delivers <3
Properly applied SPF 50 sunscreen blocks 98 percent of UVB rays; SPF 100 blocks 99 percent. When used correctly, sunscreen with SPF values between 30 and 50 offers adequate sunburn protection, even for people most sensitive to sunburn. High SPF products may pose greater health risks. My skin feels very hydrated and moisturized after applying this sunscreen. I personally find the sunscreen moisturizing without any stickiness or greasiness. I don't need any moisturizer after applying this Minimalist sunscreen SPF 50. But I think my super dry skin needs a separate moisturizer in winter. There is no scent on it
This product has a very heavy white cast and is quite thick making it sort of difficult to really blend in. Its also a bit oily making my face shiny. However, it is frangrance free and does not irritate my sensitive skin nor does it cause me to breakout so I can overlook these downsides.
