My bf is from USA and he told me he used to make corn tortillas with this brand. We were super happy to find it here on iHerb. The flour is easy to make. We successfully made some corne asada tacos and they tasted very good. Will buy it again!!

The taste is excellent! I plan to use it to make pancakes with equal parts flour, next. I buy this frequently, about every month, since I make homemade tortillas often. My family can’t get enough. The price is a little steep, so I stock up when there is a sale. The package is resealable, super convenient. Hard to find this in Japan, thanks Iherb.

I use this flour to make corn tortillas and follow the recipe on the back of the bag... Best corn tortillas ever!!! Easy to make and easy to eat! Who woulda' thought that corn tortillas are actually supposed to taste like corn -- instead of tasting like paper. PLUS -- it's just the right size bag. Easy for me to keep and store (in the fridge) before the flour goes funky. Highly recommend.

Love! Excellent thickener for soups and stews in addition to making excellent homemade tortillas. Its not limited to using with Mexican style dishes either....I've used it to thicken chilis and Italian style sauces and it doesn't change the flavor profile enough to notice but does what's it's meant to and thickens it up for me. Probably too small of a bag size if you're wanting to make large quantities of tortillas but I can tell you the flavor of Bobs Red Mill Masa Harina is better than other brands I've tried.

It's hard to find masa harina where I live, and I was a little bit worried to use a brand that wasn't a Mexican brand as I thought it may not be authentic. However, this produced really nice yummy tortillas when I followed the recipe. I've ordered it twice now.

Have been trying to find masa for a while but without any luck. You can order it from other sites but the cost of the shipping 50-60$ is outrageous, here on iherb the shipping was free and it came within two weeks as promised. The packaging and quality i am very pleased with. If you feel like having corn tacos in the countries where there are only wheat wraps, this is your chance. Definitely will order again and will recommend 👌 👍

Purchased this flour to make tacos and never want to go back to store bought!! Simply mix with water until you have dough, and then press mini dough balls into tacos. I use my cast iron griddle and they come out perfect every time. Will be purchasing again when I run out!

Masa harina is a staple ingredient called for in a variety of Mexican recipes. It is made with dried corn kernels that have been cooked and soaked in limewater before grinding, giving it a very slightly acidic taste that you can balance with a touch of sweetener. This type of soaking has the benefit of creating a chemical change that allows dough formation, and also allows the nutrient niacin in each serving to be absorbed by the digestive tract. By contrast, untreated cornmeal is unable to form a dough on the addition of water, and a diet heavily reliant on its consumption is a risk factor for pellagra. This instantly-binding corn flour is used for making Mexican food but you can use it also for making corn bread. Masa harina is sometimes called corn dough or masa flour, and because the composition is corn, this flour is gluten-free. Quality is great but I wish it was organic. Same for package, it is ok but I would prefer a larger size at a better price for lower ordering frequency.
