Typical bobby pin in size and quality except the color does match hair well. I find that these do not last long as it doesnt take long before they cross and then pull the hair when they cross. I have more auburn red hair and while these do not completely match, they have enough of a copper tone to them that they match close enough.

This matches my hair far more than the typical londe, dark brown and black that is available in stores. The pins are pretty thin and weak though. They seem to all twist and the ends "cross their legs" so its pretty hard to get them to open and they twist and spring out of my hands. I would pay more for a more sturdy pin that didn't do that. Please make quality bobby pins like they did in the 80's - 90's.

I love them for my fine thin short hair, it’s very hard to find a good hair pin that does not hurt my scalp, these aren’t so bad and they are not very long which is what I was looking for. Not sure about the slip but it does not rip my hair off if I used it carefully, so far good enough and the color is good for a brunette.
